ibis Swansea

We enjoyed our meals, breakfast and dinner, in the hotel restaurant. Food was fresh and flavorful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We appreciate the ample car parking and dog friendly facilities. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. It was close enough to walk to the downtown area and the waterfront/marina with shops, restaurants, pubs, museums and sites. Would highly recommend this Ibis hotel.

I have stayed here twice now and it's a good, clean hotel with nice rooms. I like the location - easy if you're driving and, if you don't mind a mile or so walk, it's a good stroll to town, with several nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. The only negative on this visit was the noise - my room was on the second floor looking to the front and people had endless loud conversations outside (assume they were smoking) and some cars had their engines idling for ages in the car park at night too. Not a problem if you like your window shut but it was warm and I wanted air.

I come to Swansea a couple of times a year to visit my son in university. This hotel is quite a walk away from the city center but my first time visiting it was the only hotel avaliable. Since then I don't bother looking for other hotels when I come to visit I just book this hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and all the staff are great. Why go elsewhere?

Took us a while to work out the lights. Put card in slot and nothing. (Little switch under key card slot) They have a pool table available for guests £1 a game. Good table. Lots of room to play. However you're required to pay by coins for the table. Yet the actual hotel is cashless. So unable to get change from reception or bar. Only real complaint. Not staffs fault of course. Probably just need to update table to be able to accept card as well.

Having stayed in many Ibis hotels and others within the group we have always had great service by very friendly, professional and helpful staff where nothing seems to be too much trouble, but we have to say that the Ibis in Swansea, where we spent the last couple of nights, was even better. We would like to thank Nicola for sorting the booking issue I had caused along with all the staff we had contact with, could not have been more helpful and are a credit to your organisation. We are due back in Swansea in a couple of months and would not even consider staying anywhere else. Thank you so very much

Very welcoming. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Food was good and there was a vast breakfast selection. Housekeeping tho did knock twice in morning they we had late checkout booked which they were not aware of.

Checked in on October 31st for one night. The young man on reception was a credit to the hotel. Super welcoming, friendly and helpful and really he really completed our stay. Room was immaculate and spacious. Only complain was the shower pressure wasn’t great but for one night it was too much of an issue. We look forward to returning!

Room 207 Ann & Pete (booked under C stevens) we were a party of 8 down for the rugby. In my opinion this is the best Ibis were the staff were very welcoming, easy check-in, friendly & warmed to your everyneed. Tom & Maria got us sorted in no time. I was exceptionally pleased that Maria could speak Welsh too!! We had an evening meal which couldn't be faulted. Breakfast had plenty of choice too & we were so well looked after by the Romanian gentleman. So its a 10 from me! diolch yn fawr Ann
